Water level down and looking good for wader passage with Redshank present yesterday apparently. Today's sightings were:

Cormorant, 1 was sat preening on a pylon and later flew down onto the res,

Canada Goose, 12,

Mallard, c12,

Moorhen, 3 on the lagoon,

Common Sandpiper, 2 singles,

L.B.B.Gull, c20 over,

B.H.Gull, c6,

Swift, c70 hawking over grasslands,

Swallow, c20,

House Martin, c12,

Sand Martin, c6, unusual, not sure where these are from?

Meadow Pipit, 2 with one carrying food,

Pied Wagtail, c12 with many juvs,

Grasshopper Warbler, reeling bird at top end,

Willow Warbler, c12 with many juvs,

Coal Tit, 3 singing birds,

House Sparrow, 4 in car park,

Goldfinch, c12,

Bullfinch, 2,

Chaffinch, 2,

Redpoll, 2 singles over singing,

Reed Bunting, 4 including 2 singing birds.
