50+ Black-headed Gulls+ a few crows circling high over Tesco's caching insect

Hi Neil

There was a similarly sized flock of black headed gulls in the same area on Saturday at around 6pm which was also hawking for insects.  As I returned from work tonight there was a flock of about 12 starlings hawking for insects over Gaghills.  On the way home from work there were several jackdaws hawking for insects from rooftops in Stacksteads as well.

Probably feeding on the flying ants that emerge around this date.
