Grey Heron, 1 over Nutshaw,

Mallard, c6,

Kestrel, c4 especially Nutshaw Quarry,

Moorhen, pair plus 1 large chick,

B.H.Gull, c6 on the res,

L.B.B.Gull, c30 over generally south,

Stock Dove, 1 near Nutshaw,

Little Owl, 1 on dry stone wall,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 calling at Point Wood,

Swallow, c30 especially near Nutshaw and towards Waggoners,

Meadow Pipit, 8 on res bank and c12 over,

Pied Wagtail, c4,

Grey Wagtail, 2,

Willow Warbler, c20 in weak song, calling or in Tit Flocks,

Coal Tit, c8 in flocks to 4 birds,

Jay, calling bird,

Raven, 1 over towards Compston's Cross,

Goldfinch, charm of c30 near Nutshaw,

Greenfinch, flock of 4 near Kennels,

Chaffinch, 2 singles,

Redpoll, 1 over south calling.

Dave I was up there from 09:00 ish

Saw the following to add

Lots of swallow passage over the moors to the E and over to Crown Point area 250 + in small groups flying low to S.

1 Sand martin through S

1 House martin through at Compston Cross to S + 1 Swift + another high over res.

1m + 1f Blackcap in car park area

Bullfinch calling from plantings

1 Sparrowhawk soaring with attendant swallows

1 probable Sedge warbler at S end of res in rushes, ba****d to see and wouldn't respond to pishing!
