Quick visit early afternoon. Very quiet overall with the only things of note being

goldfinch - charm of 20 feeding on juncus, I can't recall ever seeing them on this before. is it unusual or has anybody else seen them on it before.
bullfinch - 1
large tit flock - min 15 long tailed, min 6 blue and min 2 great, but probably more of each
grey heron - 3
buzzard - 1 rose up from Staghills Woods and soared over the area for quite a while.
