Was out along the river first light this morning in drizzle and mist, 6 degrees, nothing of note home for 1000 hrs.

Sun came out around 1030 hrs, so went again basically the same route.....

1 male Kingfisher digging in the bank.

2 pair Grey Wagtail displaying.

Total 5 Dipper at different locations all showing signs of nesting

1 Grey Heron.

5 Sand Martin feeding low over the river, first this year.

2 Chiffchaff in Song at different locations, first this year.

Male Sparrowhawk low along the river.

What a difference some sunshine and 11 degrees makes.
