• Canada goose - 2pr at Lench ( 1 sitting) & 18 at Cowpe Res
• moorhen - 1 at Kearn's Lodge
• lesser black backed gull - c50 flying to and from Cowpe Res & c100 over Brandwood Moor
• pied wagtail - 3 at Cowpe Res
• grey wagtail - 1pr at Cowpe Res
• stonechat - 3 males near Cowpe Res ( 2 singing birds)
• mistle thrush - 1 at Cowpe Res
• nuthatch - 1 at Cowpe allotments, possibly the same bird at Lench & another bird near Cowpe Res
• chiffchaff - 1 singing in The Glen
• willow warbler - 3 at Lench & 1 near Kearn's Lodge
• long tailed tit - 1pr carrying feathers at Lench
• greenfinch - 1 at Cowpe allotments & 2 at Lench
• house sparrow - appeared to be quite numerous through the village, no starlings seen though
• reed bunting - 5 males at Cowpe Res
