Swallows and Martins.

Light drizzle and slight north easterly, 9 degrees.

Good movement most of the day of Swallows, Sand Martin, with the odd House Martin along the Irwell between Stubbins and Ewood bridge.

All going North, North/West, hard to count but I don't think they were circling or comeining back....

Swallow.....40+

Sand Martin....60+

House Martin....8/10

Probably about 200 swallows over the sewage works/Ewood Bridge area tea-time, Brian, but only one or two house martins and no sand martins as far as I could tell.
