Would anyone be interested in taking over a 1km Breeding Bird Survey square? As well as one near home in Bolton I have one at Rising Bridge above Mitchell House. The problem is, it takes me a good half hour to get to it for an early morning start and I find it more difficult to do that these days.
It's not a very interesting square, general improved grassland with cattle and / or sheep, but every little helps.
The first visit this season would need to be done within the next couple of weeks and I'd need to notify Tony Cooper, BTO Regional Rep.
