Kestrel, 3 including bird being hassled by c12 Jackdaws,

Pheasant, c6 mainly in Alden,

Lapwing, 2 pair at top of Buckden and single on Bull Hill,

Curlew, 2 pairs,

L.B.B.Gull, c20 over,

B.H.Gull, 3 on pasture in Alden,

Collared Dove, pair at Irwell Vale,

Stock Dove, 4 in Alden,

Little Owl, 1 on dry stone wall in Alden,

Swift, 7 over Alden,

Kingfisher, 1 on the Irwell,

Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffled just once at Strongstry,

Skylark, c30, many in song,

Swallow, c20,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Pied Wagtail, c4, mainly in Alden,

Grey Wagtail, c6 seen on most waterways and one calling from a tree at Woodbank!

Song Thrush, c8, mainly in song,

Mistle Thrush, pair in Alden plus singing bird at Buckden,

Willow Warbler, c20, calling everywhere,

Chiffchaff, 8, with 4 along the Irwell, 1 up Buckden, 2 at Sunnybank and 1 in Snig hole,

Blackcap, c15, especially along the Irwell,

Coal Tit, c6, mainly Buckden & Sunnybank,

L.T.Tit, 3 pairs,

Goldcrest, singing bird in Buckden, 2 singing birds at Sunnybank,

Nuthatch, 2 singing birds along The Irwell,

Treecreeper, feeding bird at Alderbottom,

Jay, pair in Buckden and single at Alderbottom,

Starling, c12,

House Sparrow, c4 in Sunnybank,

Goldfinch, c6,

Greenfinch, 2 in Alden,

Chaffinch, c12, many in song,

Bullfinch, 3 chasing around at Irwell Vale and a single at Ewood Bridge,

Linnet, c8 in Alden,

Reed Bunting, singing male on lower slopes of Bull Hill.
