• moorhen - 1 heard at Kearn's Lodge
• kestrel - 1 at Cowpe Res
• lesser black-backed gull - c50 circling over Cowpe Res
• woodpigeon - flock of 12 near Cowpe Res
• kingfisher - very vocal bird at Lench, possibly had young birds with it. 1 also at Kearn's Lodge
• grey wagtail - 1 at Lench & 1 plus a family of 4 at Cowpe Res
• house martin - flock of c40 over Rough Lea & c20 over Cowpe Res
• swallow - just 1 at Cowpe Res
• stonechat - male with a juvenile at Cowpe Res
• goldcrest - birds calling from conifers at Cowpe Res
• long tailed tit - family party at Lench
• greenfinch - 4 at Lench
• reed bunting - 1 male at Cowpe Res
