Osprey Whinchat Redstart Grane

Osprey found by Andy Young above Troy then headed towards Calf Hey and onwards then back to Ogden then over Musbury Height and Musbury and then across over Haslingden.  Last seen over Hutch Bank and quite slow flying and in the air for a while might be a stayer.

1 Redstart at Holden Wood

1-2 Whinchat at Jamestone found by Andy 

Possible Spotted flycatcher too

Like to say thanks to Andy Young for putting Sarfraz and me on to the Osprey we had some great views of it 

Then up to Jamestone for Whinchat all so found by Andy 

Great few hours birding

Another Osprey over Holden Wood flying low headed to Ogden at about 6.30 pm - would like to think it was same bird as of Thursday but looked smaller.

Only other bird of note was mallard with3 young which looked two weeks old.

Osprey seen carrying a fish flying over Calf Hey resorvoir going towards Musbury at 1145 Hrs today.
