G.C.Grebe, 1 on the res,

Cormorant, birds on the res, U-boat, then later on the pylon, with a minimum of 5 birds

Shoveler, female on the back pond (Cheers Archie / Bob),

Teal, 3 in south bay with Mallards,

Mallard, 6,

Goosander, redhead on back pond,

Buzzard, 2 soaring behind Nutshaw & 1 soaring over Goodshaw,

Kestrel, 2 singles hunting the moorland,

B.H.Gull, c8 on the res,

L.B.B.Gull, c30 through north west in flocks to 11,

Little Owl, 1 sat on fence post near Nutshaw,

Skylark, 3 singles over calling,

Swallow, c50 through south in flocks to 11,

Meadow Pipit, c60 blogging birds and c80 through south in flocks to 10,

Pied Wagtail, 3,

Grey Wagtail, 1,

Redwing, flock of c20 through west is my first of the autumn,

L.T.Tit, 2 flocks each with c12 birds,

Coal Tit, c6,

Rook, 1 over north,

Starling, flock of 8 and 3 through south,

House Sparrow, 2,

Goldfinch, c40 feeding on thistles near Nutshaw and c20 through south,

Chaffinch, c25 through south,

Redpoll, c40 feeding in the new plantation and flocks of 22 & 6 through south,

Siskin, flock of 8 through south,

Reed Bunting, c4 at Compstons and c5 behind the boat house.
