G.C.Grebe, 1 on Holden Wood,

Cormorant, 3 on Holden Wood & 5 on Ogden,

Canada Goose, c140 on pasture at Holden Wood, 58 along side Ogden & 68 above Troy,

Mallard, 3 in Jamestones,

Teal, 8 in Jamestones,

Hen Harrier, Ringtail between Heap Clough & Clough Head, watched for approx. 15minutes from the other side of the valley but then disappeared from view over Haslingden Moor. 

Buzzard, 4 singles,

Peregrine, female over,

Kestrel, 4 singles,

Moorhen, 2 on Holden Wood,

Lapwing, 18 along side Ogden,

Snipe, 1 flushed on Haslingden Moor,

Herring Gull, party of 7 over north,

B.H.Gull, 5 in Jamestones,

Green Woodpecker, 1 above Troy,

Meadow Pipit, c30 incuding a flock of 20 in Deep Clough,

Ring Ouzel, flock of at least 8 birds, possibly 10 feeding in Hawthorns in a  small clough along side Ogden Res,

Mistle Thrush, 1,

L.T.Tit, fock of c10 at Calf Hey,

Coal Tit, 1 in Heap Clough,

Bullfinch, calling bird near Holden Wood.
