Cormorant, min of 12, mainly on the 'U-Boat' but also on pylons once disturbed by the first boat on the res,

Mallard, 14,

Teal, one disturbed out of south bay and flew into middle of res,

Wigeon, only a probable but 7 ducks flew over and I only saw them briefly as I was away from the water but when I got to a better viewing position I could not see them again,

Scaup, female back again at top end diving regularly until disturbed by the first boat when it flew nearer the boat house. Later it was seen back at the top end. Archie says it was not on the res all week.

Goosander, male with 3 redheads fishing the res,

Lapwing, c55 on res bank,

Snipe, 12 on res bank,

B.H.Gull, c20 around the res,

Common Gull, c8 around the res,

L.B.B.Gull, 10 on res and c30 over,

Herring Gull, c30 over,

Little Owl, 1 on dry stone wall,

Meadow Pipit, 1,

Starling, flock of c200 through south,

Redpoll, 1 over calling,

Greenfinch, flock of 4,

Chaffinch, 1,

Reed Bunting, 5 in hedge on walk back to main road,
