• goldeneye - 1pr at Holden Wood, 1m & 4 female/ juvs on Ogden & 1m in Jamestone Quarry
• red grouse - 2 on Haslingden Moor
• cormorant - 6 at Holden Wood @ 10:20 & 36 in the trees @ 16:00 hrs, 3 on Ogden in the morning
• grey heron - 1 flew high down the valley over Calf Hey
• great crested grebe - 1 on Holden Wood
