Had a large bird of pray today fly over Troy quarry, on its back just at the beginning of the right wing was a bright green tag . The distance between me and the bird was to great for more info and True ID

 

Jamestone Quarry

2 Oystercatchers 

Meadows above Quarry

2 Green Woodpecker 

1 Curlew 

4 skylark 

On the other side of grane above Calf Hey

1 Green Woodpecker 

7 skylark 

4 Buzzard together

1 sparrowhawk 

8 meadow pipit

I believe you saw a Marsh Harrier.

Was it not the green wing tagged Buzzard that Neil etc saw in the same area last summer??
