Can you pinpoint a couple of locations for old rookeries?

I've been collating the old Rook Survey data with a view to uploading it to a website dedicated to rooks and rookeries (http://www.rookeries.uk) and I've been double-checking the grid refs for errors.

There are two rookeries mentioned in the Whitewell Valley in the mid-1970s which after a couple of years got merged into one rookery record before fading out.  However, the grid references given are a fair distance apart.

One was Whitewell Vale SD836246 which seems to be show it close to the southern arm of Hargreaves Court, and the other is Lamb Bank SD835244 which puts it above Rock Clough Lane/Road.

Have any of you heard of these names being used for areas in the Whitewell Valley?

Many thanks

Jim
