There has been a noticeable increase in Fieldfares this past week or so, (from none all winter to birds being seen!) ever time Ive been out Ive seen decent sized groups flying about and most of the time they have been moving in a northerly direction.

Must be birds returning back north from Southern Europe or southern England as they simply didnt turn up here in their usual winter numbers last Oct/Nov.
