Another mixed week of weather....sun, snow, hail, and wind...-2 to +9 degrees.

Crocus and Snowdrops in flower.

Most of what you would expect are here in good numbers.

Of note....

Big increase in Woodpigeon Numbers.

Blackbird numbers down.

Chaffinch Flock has increased to 40+ (no Brambling)

Three pair of Bullfinch regular.

Goldfinch numbers poor.

Siskin...odd ones but not many.

Redpoll...none in the last week.

Single Greenfinch most days.

Two Goldcrest on site with several more around the area.

Song Thrush have increased to at least 5 with one in Song this morning.

Great Spotted Woodpecker....two pair regular, one drumming yesterday morning.

Pair of Collared Doves have been here all week for the first time this winter.

Jay numbers excellent.

No Sparrow Hawk seen for some time.

Green Woodpecker flew over yesterday, first since November.

Lots of tit activity in nest boxes.

Tawny Owls calling at two nest sites.
