Sparrowhawk hunting across from my house in the Limy valley this morning, seen twice.
Odd waders aren't unusal during frost and snow, back in the 1980s I recall odd Dunlins on the banks of the Irwell & Redshank at E.B.S.W. So might be worth a gander down there if you can wade through the drifts.
