Whitworth Quarry and surrounding moor

• 1 snipe
• c35 skylark, many singing
• 4 pied wagtail
• c35 meadow pipit
• 2 + 1 wheatear all males
• male stonechat singing in the quarry, a first for me here

Lee Quarry (east end only)

• 1 little owl
• 1 pied wagtail
• 1 meadow pipit
• 28 woodpigeon 
• 1 mistle thrush singing in the clough

Peter reported a wheatear at the Greens end of the quarry

EBSW area

• possible white wagtail
• 6 pied wagtail
• 1 grey wagtail on the beds & 1 on the river
• 1 dipper
• 5 goldcrest singing around the circuit
• redpoll near the golf club entrance

Groundwork/ The Holme

• 1 redhead goosander
• 1 moorhen
• 1 dipper
• 1 mistle thrush singing
