G.C.Grebe, 2, possibly a pair,

Cormorant, 2 on 'U'-Boat,

Grey Heron, 2 flew up the valley north,

Canada Goose,

c12,

Mallard, c8,

Common Scoter, flock of 6 (5 males) in the middle of the res. Flew around for a while before landing back on res.

Kestrel, 1 hunting rough grasslands,

Pheasant, calling birds,

Moorhen, 1 on Limy,

Curlew, pair towards Crown point,

Lapwing, 2 pair towards Crown point,

B.H.Gull, 2 over,

L.B.B.Gull, 3 over,

Skylark, c8, mainly in song,

Meadow Pipit, c12,

Pied Wagtail, 3,

Song Thrush, 2 in song,

Willow Warbler, 3 in song,

Coal Tit, 1 in song,

Jay, flock of 3,

Raven, 2 over,

Starling, c8,

Greenfinch, 1 male,

Chaffinch, c8, many in song,

Goldfinch, 2,

Redpoll, 1,

Reed Bunting, 4 males.

Common Scoter still present at 20:30 hrs + 1m Wigeon present at 19:30 but not seen later.

Also pr Goosander.
