Canada Goose, 2 pairs on the moor tops and c20 around the quarries on the way up,

Kestrel, 1 over the moor,

Pheasant, calling bird,

Moorhen, 1 in Troy,

Common Sandpiper, pair,

LRP, Pair,

Snipe, at least 2 and probably 3 displaying males both 'drumming' and 'chipping'. 

Lapwing, at least 2 pairs on the tops,

Oystercatcher, pair,

Curlew, 2 pairs,

B.H.Gull, 2 in the quarries,

L.B.B.Gull, c6 over, 

Stock Dove, 2 pair,

Green Woodpecker, yaffling bird,

Skylark, best numbers of the year to date with c20 singing birds,

Swallow, c4 plus 3 through north,

Sand Martin, c12,

Pied Wagtail, 2 pairs,

Meadow Pipit, c30,

Wheatear, group of 9 above Jamestones and a single bird on the tops,

Mistle Thrush, 1 singing bird,

Coal Tit, 1 in Troy Clough,

Goldcrest, 3 singing in Troy Clough,

Goldfinch, c6,

Chaffinch, c10,

Linnet, male in Deep Clough,

Reed Bunting, 2 singing males.
