Buzzard, soaring bird,

L.B.B.Gull, c60,

Collared Cove, 1,

Stock Dove, 5 inc 3 at Edge Yate,

Swift, 7 over Rawtenstall & 6 over Crawshawbooth,

Skylark, several singing from the tops,

Swallow, c12,

House Martin, c10 in Crawshawbooth,

Meadow Pipit, c6,

Pied Wagtail, 1,

Dipper, 1 on river at Crawshawbooth,

Song Thrush, 2,

Mistle Thrush, 1,

Willow Warbler, c6 singing,

Blackcap, singing birds from Brooks' and Cribden Clough,

Coal Tit, 1 near Chapel Hill,

Rook, 3 over Cribden End,

Starling, c50 

House Sparrow, c12,

Goldfinch, c12,

Greenfinch, 2 'wheezing' birds,

Chaffinch, c20, many in song,
