Grey Heron, 1 dropped onto Holden Wood,

Canada Goose, c80 mainly Holden Wood plus pair with 5 goslings above Troy,

Tufted Duck, male in quarry,

Sparrowhawk, female over alerted to by Pied Wagtail alarms,

Kestrel, 3 singles,

Pheasant, 2 calling birds,

Moorhen, 1 on Holden Wood,

Oystercatcher, pair plus group of 4 at Calf Hey,

Lapwing, 5 at Holden Wood plus 2 pairs on the tops,

Common Sandpiper, single,

B.H.Gull, c12,

Green Woodpecker, 'yaffling' birds at 2 locations,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 at Calf Hey and 1 above Troy flying towards the moors!

Skylark, c20 many in song,

Swallow, c20,

Sand Martin, c4 at nest holes,

House Martin, 1 near Holden Vale,

Meadow Pipit, c30,

Grey Wagtail, 1 at Calf Hey,
