13:00hrs approx.

 1 melanistic harrier sp. flew in from E. then moved N.E. towards Crown Point area. Further searching of moorland as far as Red Moss/Compstons Cross proved fruitless. A really black bird thought it was a crow initially, but too slight in body. Sailed off at distance in typical harrier fashion.

South bay

3 Stonechat

2 Whinchat

c20 Meadow Pipit

c6 Reed Bunting

2 Grey Wagtail

1 Willow Warbler

1 Blue Tit

2 Whitethroat

1 Linnet

1 Kestrel in Pumphouse valley.

Reservoir-

10 Canada Geese

1 Common Gull

c12 B.H.Gull

11 Mallard

1 Buzzard in planations

Compstons Cross

4 Stonechat

1 Whinchat
