Excellent walk around the reservoir seeing: - 160 Pink-footed Geese (heading east) 60 Canada Geese, 35 Mallard, Cormorant, Grey Heron, 30 Black headed Gull, Common Gull, 10 Woodpigeon, Kestrel, 8 Magpie, 4 Jay, 7 Jackdaw, 12 Carrion Crow, 3 Goldcrest, 6 Blue Tit, 10 Great Tit, 2 Coal Tit, Treecreeper (my first ever at Cowm Res) Wren, 32 Starling, 12 Blackbird, 55 Fieldfare & 28 Redwing (flew north east in one flock) Song Thrush, 4 Robin, Dunnock, 12 House Sparrow, 8 Chaffinch, 3 Bullfinch, 6 Lesser Redpoll.
