10-15 over Clough Head car park (east) this morning. While looking for these in the nearby plantations a flock of 31 over east (some still present in the trees), then a further 8 east above Jamestones which disappeared over Troy (probably flying through). A little later birds heard again flying east over Thirteen Stone Hill - couldn't pick these up but sounded a fair number (15+?).
Also a handful of redwings and about 70-80 fieldfares in various small flocks and a skylark over south. 3 red grouse and a reed bunting Haslingden moor. Wildfowl numbers much reduced - only a few teal and one goldeneye of note
