cormorant - 4 on Cowpe Res
grey heron - 1 at Lench Lodges
sparrowhawk - 1 over Lench and another or possibly the same bird seen later flying down the valley
kestrel - 1 near Cowpe Res
black-headed gull - 2 at Cowpe Res
lesser black-backed gull - 4 at Cowpe Res
herring gull - 150 at Cowpe Res
little owl - 1 near Cowpe Res
pied wagtail - 1 at Cowpe Res
grey wagtail - 1 at Lench
kingfisher - 1 at Lench Lodges
woodpigeon - c30 at Lench
redwing - 2 at Lench
song thrush - 1 at Kearn's
mistle thrush - 1 at Lench & 1 at Kearn's
fieldfare - c120 flying towards Lench from Warth
raven - 1 flying down the valley
jay - 2 winning a tussle with 2 magpies at Lench
jackdaw - c50 at Lench & c100 at Kearn's
starling - c120 at Kearn's
chaffinch - flock of 7 at Lench
goldfinch - 9 at Kearn's
