Hi Dave

I was up at Grane today and can add a couple of bits to your list

  • cormorant - 24 in the roost at 3:30 pm
  • Canada goose - 10 at Holden Wood
  • teal - only 3 at top end of Ogden, however, there were 56 on Calf Hey
  • goldeneye - a male with the female on Ogden
  • lapwing - 1 at Holden Wood
  • moorhen - 1 at Holden Wood
  • pheasant - male at Holden Wood
  • goldcrest - flock at Calf Hey
  • long-tailed tit - 12 at Calf Hey

I didn't see the brambling, but I was talking to the lady who has put the feeders up.  She said she first saw it 3 weeks ago and then again earlier this week. she also reported 4 swans (probably whoopers?) on Calf Hey during the week

cheers Kevin
