As you all probably know by now I have had good numbers of Brambling for some time now, but I never expected them to come in the house.....took the dog out around 2230 hrs, as I opened the door in heavy snow in flew a Brambling and landed on my grandkids picture, it stayed for a while to warm up and then flew out into the night, good luck pal.
Hi Paul, It could have stayed but started flying at the window, so I opened the door and out it went......as a matter of interest there is an article printed today of an irruption of Brambling in Slovenia, around 3/5 million birds have descended in one area, picture attached, I dont think I could feed that lot.
