At least 50 north of the summit yesterday, plus 5 snipe.
Also yesterday one golden plover and a snipe Cowpe Moss, and 3 or four skylarks on the edge of the moors above AMR - one of these in half-hearted song.
3 goldeneye and a few gulls AMR. One stonechat and 2 pied wagtails the only passerines noted here.
