2 house martins, 3 sand martins and about 15 swallows at the sewage works this afternoon (around 5.00). Also 7 goosanders over, 1 oystercatcher and a few pied wagtails. 1 chiffchaff on the other side of the river was my only other summer migrant between here and Rawtenstall.
