I managed to get around most of our Rookeries today, counts as follows:

Acre. 12.
Rook Hill. 41.
Bacup. 15.
Broadclough. 35.
Water. 26.
Peers Clough. 14.
Crawshawbooth. 32.
Rawtenstall. 3.
I did get to Whitworth but nothing at Healey Corner and the rookery on Rochdale Road has move a few hundreds yards down the road and now into Rochdale!
Not sure if there are any birds at Goodshaw this year?
Good to see the new rookery in Bacup that Kevin found us and pleasing to see it hasn't taken birds away from Broadclough which is only a couple of nests down on last year although the leaves are much further on than last year so a little more difficult to count this time so I may have missed an odd nest!
