Buzzard, 2 over off the moors towards Accrington. 1 was being mobbed by a Carrion Crow and a Kestrel,

Sparrowhawk, single at Winfields,

Kestrel, 1 mobbing Buzzard!

L.B.B.Gull, c20 over northwest,

Skylark, c6, all in song,

Swallow, just a single bird,

Meadow Pipit, 2,

Pied Wagtail, 1,

Stonechat, male feeding in rushes,

Song Thrush, singing bird,

Willow Warbler, 2 singing in quarry,

Goldfinch, 4,

Linnet, 2 pairs,

Reed Bunting, male in bankside willow.
