20:30-22:00

Grey Heron, 1 on res shore,

Canada Goose, 8 on the res,

Mallard, female with 5 newly hatched ducklings plus c12 in north bay,

Kestrel, 1 hunting over moors,

Oystercatcher, 1 in north bay later flew into south bay where it was joined by a second bird at dusk. Two minutes later 3 further birds flew in and when I left were still circuiting the res.

Lapwing, adult with 3 chicks plus 2 further pairs,

B.H.Gull, c20 circling over the res plus c6 in north bay,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over,

Little Owl, 1 in gable end,

Swift, 2 feeding over 'old' wood,

Swallow, c12,

House Martin, 4,

Pied Wagtail, c5, inc juvs, feeding on res bank,

Song Thrush, 1 singing from top end,

Lesser Redpoll, calling birds near Boat House.
