Cormorant, 4 in trees at Holden Wood and 3 on Ogden,

Grey Heron, 1 on Holden Wood,

Canada Goose, c150 at Holden Wood and 8 each on Ogden & Calf Hey,

Buzzard, 2 soaring singles.

Kestrel, 3 singles & a pair hunting the hillside above Troy,

Oystercatcher, 4 at Holden Wood,

Lapwing, c20 at top end of Ogden but could have been more hidden away,

Common Sandpiper, 1 at Holden Wood,

G.B.B.Gull, 2 on Ogden,

L.B.B.Gull, c30 up the valley,

B.H.Gull, c12 on Holden Wood and c20 up the valley,

Wood Pigeon, c100 in the valley in flocks to 60,

Swift, c12 initially low over Holden Wood then feeding high,

Green Woodpecker, 1 on hillside above Holden Wood, yaffled weakly,

Swallow, c80 with many juvs,

House Martin, c12 over Holden Wood,

Sand Martin, a flock of 6 near Heap Clough,

Meadow Pipit, c12, 

Pied Wagtail, c12,

Grey Wagtail, 1 at Holden Wood & 2 at Calf Hey,

Song Thrush, 2 in song,

Mistle Thrush, 1 on hillside above Calf Hey,

Willow Warbler, 3 in tit flock near Holden Wood plus bird in song at Calf Hey,

L.T.Tit, flock of c12,

Coal Tit, singing birds near Heap Clough,

Goldcrest, singing bird near Heap Clough,

Nuthatch, singing birds at Fairy Glen and Calf Hey car park,

Jay, 2 near Heap Clough,

Raven, single 'tumbling' above Troy for a good 15 minutes,

Greenfinch, flock of 4 at the bottom of Heap Clough,

Linnet, 3 near Holden Wood,

Siskin, birds calling at Calf Hey and a single over Heap Clough calling,

Reed Bunting, singing birds at Holden Wood and Calf Hey.
