Cormorant, 2 in trees at Holden Wood and 7 on the res bank at Ogden,

Grey Heron, 1,

Canada Goose, c40,

Marsh Harrier, bird seen briefly but clearly flying along the hill top above Troy before disappearing towards Thirteen Stone Hill,

Buzzard, 1 over,

Sparrowhawk, female at Holden Wood,

Kestrel, female in Jamestones,

G.B.B.Gull, 1 on Ogden,

L.B.B.Gull, 6 up the valley,

Stock Dove, a flock of 7 feeding in a field opposite The Duke,

Swift, 2 late birds over the valley,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 at the bottom of Heap Clough and 1 at the back of Calf Hey,

Nuthatch, 1 at the bottom of Heap Clough & 2 in conifers at the back of Calf Hey,

Swallow, c50,

House Martin, c20,

Sand Martin, single bird in Jamestones,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Song Thrush, 1 juv,

Willow Warbler, 1 in conifers at the back of Calf Hey,

Spotted Flycatcher, 1 in conifers at back of Calf Hey,

Coal Tit, c20 in conifers at the back of Calf Hey,

L.T.Tit, c12 in conifers at the back of Calf Hey,

Goldcrest, c6 in conifers at the back of Calf Hey plus singles in Heap Clough and near Ogden,

Goldfinch, charm of c35 at Calf Hey.
