Had a wonder at the southern end of the res/ back of boatyard area. Best birds were 2 White Wagtails in South Bay. Not much of else note except a steady trickle of M Pipit going south, a few Goldfinch blogging, 3 Stonechat together on the South Bay wall, a Stoat on path and 11 Mallard.

Another unusual bird was a female Goldeneye which flew around the res, but Im not sure it landed, at c1pm.

Without looking at records it seems a very early returning bird ??? Seemed wierd in the warm sunshine...

Still present this afternoon - 25th Sept.

Other stuff.. 1 Yellow Wagtail in field with c10 Pied Wagtails and 6-8 M Pipits with sheep nr point wood. Same place as earlier this autumn.. 21 Mallard, 2 G C Grebe and 7 B H Gulls on the res.
