Whooper Swan, flock of 5 over east,

Canada Goose, just 3 on Holden Wood were joined later by flocks of c30 & 50 which dropped in,

Mallard, c12,

Buzzard, 1 soaring bird,

Sparrowhawk, 1 over,

Kestrel, male in clearfell at Calf Hey,

Lapwing, c12 flying over roofs at Knowsley Road but probably more roosting there,

B.H.Gull, c40,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over,

G.B.B.Gull, 2 on Ogden, 1 in Jamestones and 4 over,

Wood Pigeon, c200, mainly in Beech trees at Calf Hey,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 at Calf Hey,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Mistle Thrush, 2,

Fieldfare, flock of 20 over Deep Clough heading north west,

Coal Tit, c20 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Blue Tit, c6 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Great Tit, c15 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

L.T.Tit, c20 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Nuthatch, 2 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Treecreeper, at least 3 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Goldcrest, c15 in tit flock at Calf Hey,

Jay, 3 singles,

Starling, flock of c20 over north west,

Goldfinch, charm of 5 in Deep Clough,

Siskin, 2 at Clough Head.
