Peter & John found a colour ringed black-headed gull this morning, which was also present this afternoon. I have reported the gull on CR Birding and received the following info on the bird, which shows it was ringed in Norway on 18th April 2018, moving to the Netherlands by 25th July 2018 & eventually being seen in Whitworth today. The total distance travelled is 1044 km from the ringing site.
