Woodcock, a bird flew over The Boar's Head at Newchurch towards Seat Naze as I was driving home from Bridleway Chippy!

Not sure if its right place right time but Woodcock sightings seem to be a thing this spring....?

Another flying over grane road ( bad bend ) below Clough head car park in first bit of light on sat  morning. Seen from car.
