A few odds and sods along the river over the last few days (apologies for duplicating others' records)
Swallow - 1 friday (3/4), 1 sunday (5/4) EBSW. Today 5+ early then 10+ at the sewage works and 1 north of Ewood Bridge later
Sand Martin - 1 EBSW today
House Martin - 2 EBSW today
Willow Warbler - 1 EBSW yesterday (also present today) and another north of Ewood Bridge today
Chiffchaff - fairly widespread now, last count 6 between Groundwork and Irwell Vale on Friday (3/4)
Apart from all the usual resident species along the river a male goosander several days (unusual this late in the year) and reed buntings singing either side of the bypass bridge
