0800/1100 hrs slight southerly 14 degrees Sunny.

Linnet.....three pair.

Goldfinch.....lots in pairs

Meadow Pipit.....over a dozen feeding

Skylark....3/4 displaying.

Greenfinch.....3 in conifers

Goldcrest....single in same conifer.

Sand Martin.....20 plus hawking over the brook.

Dipper.....pair

Grey Wagtail....single feeding in the brook.

Swallow....10 plus around farm buildings.

Whitethroat....my first of this spring in full song in brookside scrub, then another in Song on far bank of Buckhurst lodge.

Willow Warbler.....Several in Song.

Chaffinch.....more than normal for here, males in Song.

Song Thrush....singing.

Reed Bunting...one Male in same area.

Wheatear.....two pair on territory.

Several pairs of Canada Geese sitting in fields and flying round, Robins, Wrens and Blackbirds in good numbers.
