Early morning.

G.C.Grebe, 1 on Ogden,

Cormorant, c6 inc 2 on Ogden fighting over a sizable trout which one bird somehow swallowed in seconds,

Grey Heron, 1 on Holden Wood,

Canada Goose, many pairs with goslings inc a pair with 16!

Mallard, c12,

Buzzard, bird over scrubber,

Kestrel, 1 over,

Pheasant, c4 calling birds,

Moorhen, 1 at Holden Wood,

Curlew, pair very vocal,

Oystercatcher, c 3 pairs plus several singles,

Lapwing, c8 pairs at various locations,

Dunlin, 2 on Holden Wood,

B.H.Gull, c12,

L.B.B.Gull, 2 in Jamestones,

Stock Dove, just 1 in Jamestones and 1 at Holden Wood,

Swift, c20 over Ogden dam wall & c12 in Jamestones,

Skylark, c6 singing birds,

Swallow, c25,

Sand Martin, c20,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Pied Wagtail, c6,

Grey Wagtail, 2,

Wheatear, male above Clough Head,

Stonechat, 2 singing males,

Song Thrush, c8 singing birds,

Mistle Thrush, 2 pairs,

Willow Warbler, c25 singing birds,

Chiffchaff, 1 singing at Calf Hey,

Blackcap, c10 singing birds,

Grasshopper Warbler, reeling bird near Ogden,
