One adult Med Gull with around 50 black-headed (including several young birds) and a lesser black-backed in a newly ploughed field along Moor road above Pleasant View.
On the hill a flock of 6-700 starlings and 15 rooks near the summit - unusual to see them this far up the hill
Also yesterday around 200 swifts, 100 house martins and smaller numbers of sand martins and swallows at EBSW - a few recently fledged black-headed gulls here also
There are now around 20 occupied holes at the Townsend Fold sand martin colony.
One dead adult tawny owl by the bypass bridge - I assume a road casualty.
