0700/1020 hours, Thats when the rain came, Overcast calm 15 degrees.

Of note.....

Common Whitethroat.....one in song and several with young.

Garden Warbler.....Single feeding.

Willow Warbler......good Numbers around lodges several young.

Stonechat...pair with two juveniles.

Sand Martin......30+ hawking majority of young have fledged.

Swallows....small groups hunting especially around Ridshaw.

Swift....several over high ground.

Greenfinch....pair at Buckhurst and 2/3 family parties at Ridshaw.

Curlew....single over Cheesden.

Linnet.....small family parties around Ridshaw and Butcher Acre.

Reed Bunting.....Several with young in Cheesden valley.

Kestrel....one hunting around Cheesden and another at Ridshaw.

Skylark...3/4 over

Meadow Pipit....good Numbers all round.

Bullfinch....single Male at Buckhurst

Goldcrest....pair calling and chasing in hedge at Butcher Acre.
