One flew south past the sewage works this morning around 8.20. Not seen again between here and Strongstry (or by Brian to Stubbins) so presumably flew straight through. Also today a single red grouse on Wet Moss (two snipe, one meadow pipit, one raven and a few carrion crows the only other birds up here).
Around 40-50 goldfinches, one stonechat and one fieldfare in Musbury on the way back.
On Friday (20/11) a woodcock flushed from the little wood south of the bypass north of Ewood Bridge (a little mooch around there again the last two mornings without success).
