Sunny 16 degrees and calm.

Sand Martin....after a late and slow start the nesting colony is now 20+ and very actively nest building at at least 9 holes.

Grey Wagtail.....two pair on territory with active nest sites.

Dipper....two pair, one pair feeding young at the nest and other female sitting.

Grey Heron....adult feeding on river.

Goosander....two females, males seem to have departed.

Mallard.....lots of males, one female sitting.

Moorhen....single on banking.

Good numbers of Willow Warbler and Blackcap along the river and in song.
