Greylag Goose, pair with 6 gosling, first breeding record for me,

Canada several sitting birds,

Goosander, pair on AMR,

Kestrel, male on telegraph pole,

Pheasant, 3 calling,

Moorhen, pair plus 3 singles,

Curlew, 3 pairs,

Lapwing, 3 birds, numbers seem down on earlier in the year,

Stock Dove, 8 in groups to 3,

Skylark, c6, some in song but quite cold so no encouragement to sing,

Swallow, c8,

Sand Martin, 6,

Meadow Pipit, c12,

Pied Wagtail, 2,

Wheatear, male on dry stone wall,

Song Thrush, 2 in song,

Mistle Thrush, 1 in song,

Willow Warbler, c12, most in song,

Chiffchaff, 1 in song,

Coal Tit, 2 in song,

Goldcrest, 1 in song near Sales's Farm,

L.T.Tit, group of 4,

Rook, c40 at Turn on the drive up,

House Sparrow, c6 at Sales's Farm,

Goldfinch, c12, many in song,

Greenfinch, 3, one in song,

Chaffinch, c15, many in song,

Linnet, pair at Buckhurst Farm,

Hi David do you feel there is potential hybridisation given the white markings and different coloured ducklings?

Hi Mark,
Maybe, the plumage can vary quite a lot according to the the guides and the white around the bill seems quite common but not usually present around the eye like the bird in Cheesden.
